The player would listen to the confession of the members of his/her army while standing on the opposite side of a screen from the confessors. All that could be seen of those confessing was a silhouette. However, this proves to be more than enough to discern the identity of the confessor. After hearing a confession, the player would be asked whether they'll chose to forgive the character or not. If the confessor is forgiven there a short congratulatory animation will appear. However, if the confessor is not forgiven, there will usually be something dropped on them.
