Alan Taylor is a television director who directed two episodes of The West Wing. He won an Emmy for his work on The Sorpranos and was nominated for his work on Mad Men. He has also directed episodes of Game of Thrones, Bored to Death, The Playboy Club, Rubicon, Rome, Lost, Deadwood, Sex in the City, Homicide: Life on the Street and Oz, among others. He will direct the upcoming feature film Thor 2.
