Rola Lanlin was a member of a locally powerful noble family on Naboo, born in 81 BBY. Claiming ancestry from the Klistorin family, she had less interest in politics itself then in pure power. She thus determined in 49 BBY to conceive by a Jedi, and raise the resulting baby to be more powerful mentally than a Jedi. The result was her daughter Coté Lanlin. In her attempts to develop the girl's powers, she and her husband abused Coté physically and emotionally, threatening her with terrible consequences should she run away. However, in 35 BBY she lost her anyway, as when Coté reached the age of majority she fled. Rola Lanlin was dead by 20 BBY.
