Gosho Aoyama(青山 剛昌Aoyama Gōshō), born Yoshimasa Aoyama(青山 剛昌Aoyama Yoshimasa) on June 21, 1963 in Hokuei, Tottori Prefecture, Japan (formerly Daiei, Tottori Prefecture) is a Japanese manga artist. He is best known as the creator of the manga series Detective Conan (known in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom as Case Closed).
