Before we can rank the worst remakes of all time, let's define a bad remake. A remake is when you take the exact same movie and do it over again. There are several factors involved in a bad remake: The director and/or screenwriter can make a big difference. For example, who really wants to see Quentin Tarantino remake DuckTales: The Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp? I think Malcolm McDowell has better things to do than to play an aging Scrooge McDuck. Who also wants Tim Burton to do Planet of the Apes? Wait a minute, he already did! Damn you! Damn you all to hell!
