A Noob is the most common slang used in massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs). It originally meant "new player" (deriving from the term 'newb' or 'newbie') though is now used as a general insult, often depicting inexperience and/or stupidity. Although some players may take offence at the term, it is not reportable in RuneScape.
