The Blue Pass, which runs through the Vale of Tone between Mount Timor and Mount Tinnabin, is the route caravans take out of Tai-tastigon through the Ebonbane. Jame and Marc took this route out of the city. Usually, the pass is open all Spring and Summer, from the Feast of Fools to the Feast of Dead Gods. However, sometimes it is much shorter than that, and in God Stalk it is open for only two weeks.
