Vedros IV was a habitable moon of the gas giant Vedros and a possession of the Golden Empire. Due to its location (closest to the planet of the three habitable moons) and its largely unarable soil, Vedros IV's primary economic activity was harvesting the naturally occurring tibanna gas on Vedros itself. Most of its foodstuffs were imported from nearby Vedros VI. The Synnott pirate and Nightside Raiders Captain-General Kilwyo Kesh was stabbed to death by Renamo Kemset in the Miner's Daughter bar on Vedros IV. Kemset entered local legend as "the man who killed Kilwyo Kesh".
