Deadstar Hug (デッドスターハグ Deddosutā Hagu?) is a Leg-type energy ball weapon that Vile obtains by defeating Armored Armadillo in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X. This weapon is more or less Vile's version of Mega Man X's Rolling Shield. When equipped, Vile shoots a ball of energy which will roll along the floor and disappear if it hits something. The damage is only moderate, but its range is nearly infinite. Deadstar Hug is Launch Octopus's weakness, and Mega Man X takes a considerable amount of damage from this weapon as well.
