Lancejack Sage was a female hare with a pretty singing voice, serving in the Long Patrol under Violet Wildstripe. She accompanied Rake Nightfur on the quest to seek out Skor Axehound and his Rogue Crew, and later assisted in the battle against the creatures of Razzid Wearat at Redwall Abbey. During the battle, she took a thrown knife in the shoulder, but was rescued by Buff Redspore and Drander.
