Adoniram, son of Ada, was an officer in the service of King Solomon and of his son Rehoboam in the 11th century BC. He was in charge of inscripting laborers to support the building projects of the realm. When Rehoboam sent hid out to greatly increase the already heavy load, a violent mob in Israel executed him by stoning.
