From the envelope: “Professional dressmakers, making garments for sale, are reminded that must comply with the Making of Civilian Clothing (Restriction) Order”. These orders came into place during the Second World War in the early 1940s. Material required: 1 ¾ yards of 36 inch. Pattern has 10 pieces and making up instructions on the back of the envelope.
