Its senior member was a Council Lord of the Council of Trade that governed the Orion Colony. By working in coalition with the Beldav Family, they formed a working majority rule within the Council. They descended from one of the Orion trading captains who originally colonized Daros IV, and were the oldest and wealthiest of the Five Families. In the late 23rd century, many of their holdings and trade contracts were on planets rich in minerals and other natural resources, which often put them in direct competition with the Simri Family, and they sold such goods as Surokos steel.
