The Pinta is a sailing ship used by Christopher Columbus and his crewmen in the expedition carrying them across the Atlantic Ocean from Portugal to America in 1492. Christopher Columbus, his crewmen and ships appear in the TMNT Adventures comic book story 1492 where the turtles end up travelling through time from 1992 to 1492.
