The politics of the Empire of Austenasia take place in a framework of a parliamentary constitutional monarchy. Executive power is exercised by the Prime Minister and leaders of Government Ministries. Legislative power is vested in Parliament, which is comprised of the Cabinet. The judiciary is the same as the executive and the legislative branches - either Town Councils or Parliament preside over trials.
