Sometimes, debates in legislatures can get a little too heated. The result: a scuffle breaks out on the floor of the chamber. This sort of thing tends to occur in non-Anglophone legislatures and has provided material for satirical TV shows for years. More dramatic slants, especially in Western literature, often draw on the assassination of Julius Caesar or Shakespeare's famous dramatization.
