The Age of Antiquity was a time period on Vulcan. This occured in a time before the Time of Awakening and the events of the Sundering when many warlords considered having metals as being as important as having water. As such, the control of active volcanoes became one of the many sources of conflicts during the Age of Antiquity as factions sought the control of this resource.
