Armed Serfs are low-level light cavalry fielded by the Muscovite Tsardom. As their name suggest, these cavalrymen are probably serfs from a boyar's land, encouraged to take up arms for their lord and their Tsar. Given a Sumpter Horse and a reasonable assortment of arms and armor, these Serfs should not be too relied upon in battle. Battle Serfs, upgrades of the Armed Serfs, are armed with somewhat better bows and arrows, and are somewhat better trained.
