Heinrich Trelk was born in the New Swabian city of Toll, which at the time was still under allied occupation. His father was a New Swabian Air-Force pilot who had fought in the war and his mother died giving birth to him. He grew up with his father and step-mother and was affected by their bitterness towards the allies who had occupied New Swabia, each of them blaming the allies for their previous partners death.
