Patrick Thomas Brady (September 7, 1926 – July 14, 2009) was an American football player who was a quarterback and punter for the University of Nevada, Reno and later for the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League. Brady attended Nevada-Reno from 1948 until 1951, first as a quarterback and then as a punter. On October 28, 1950 against Loyola Marymount, Brady had a punt of 99 yards, the longest possible under the rules, a record that cannot be broken and has never been tied. Brady completed his collegiate career at and graduated from Bradley University in 1951.
