Wylie Burp is the dog sheriff and the tetartagonist of the 1991 sequel, An American Tail: Fievel Goes West. Fievel told him about Cat R. Waul's evil plan, and they join forces together to stop Cat R. Waul from turning the mice of Green River and Fievel's family into mouseburgers. After Cat R. Waul and his men flew into the mail bag, Wylie and Fievel talk for a while. Wylie is voiced by Jimmy Stewert (in his final film role).
