Within the center of the chambers was the Void Stone, the most sacred and venerated object of the Charon Dominion in its entirety. The Ring also served as the ceremonial location for the Prophet of the Void to directly commune to the Presence. For the vast majority of the Savants, including most of the Arch-Savants, the Ring was a forbidden location to tread without special permissions given.
