An ancient clan that was a break off of the Senju Clan. They came to the Land of Mountains around the time Konoha was formed. The Mokuzai tried to form a Hidden Village called Mokugakure, but failed. The Mokuzai then fought a war with the Senju in which they lost and were exiled. They were discovered again by Tora Uchiha and brought to the Village Hidden in the Mountains.
