John William Comstock II (b. 24 June, 1978), also known by his alias Willem van der Berg, was a pure-blood Canadian wizard of the famed Comstock wizarding family; second-youngest child of William Hale Comstock and his second wife; Elizabeth, who passed away in 1991. He was the middle child of the family; younger brother of Zachary Hale Comstock and elder brother of George Cornelius Comstock, as well as the younger half-brother of Connor William Comstock. He attended Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry from 1989 to 1996, where he was Sorted into Thunderbird and excelled at Defence and Charms.
