On the 14th of August 2012 on UGW's YouTube channel it was announced that UGW had penned a deal with ESPN2 to become the exclusive home of UGW programming. On the 6th of September 2012 it was announced that UGW would run a weekly 1-hour show on ESPN2 under the name UGW Adrenaline; The first 9 episodes of UGW Adrenaline would be taped on the 6th of October 2012 and air at 9pm every Wednesday, and that they would culminate with a special 2-hour broadcast on the 12th of December 2012. The main event for the first ever edition of UGW Adrenaline airing on the 10th of October 2012 was announced as ROH's The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) vs. Prince Devitt & KENTA.
