The Ice Fang class was a frigate model designed by the shipwrights of Clan Snow Raven. After the success of the Nightlord class the clan's designers turned their attention to creating smaller warship models with the Ice Fang the first to reach production. While not as common outside Clan Star Raven's fleet as the Nightlord Clan Coyote and Clan Ghost Bear each possess several, and Clan Wolf, Clan Jade Falcon, Clan Diamond Shark and Clan Nova Cat each have or have had the vessels in their Touman.
