Eva Marquez, daughter of Eddie Marquez, is the NYPD partner for John Amsterdam. Upon becoming a detective, Eva applied to become an undercover narcotics officer, but her application was denied by the department and instead was assigned to the homicide division. Eva is able to get John to reveal a number of personal details about his life in the course of her conversations.
