This is a list of ice hockey players who have accumulated at least 2000 penalty minutes (PIMs) in the National Hockey League (NHL) through the end of the 2009-10 NHL regular season. Virtually all of these records are dominated by Canadian players, due to the traditional popularity of ice hockey in Canada. For non-Canadian-born players, the flag of the country of birth or country played for in international competition (if applicable) is listed.
