The title originated as the LOP 24/7 Hardcore Championship in the e-federation for the Psychotic Wrestling Alliance (PWA), the LOP Hardcore territory. The original thread saw the formation of the Madcore Wrestling Alliance, composed of Tromboner Man and RaTo, the two members who would gain fame from the MWA name, Crazy Ash Killa, Eric Scorpio, Homicide and The Rik. The thread became inactive, leaving the LOP Hardcore roster to head to the PWA. On January 8, 2011, the thread was restarted, with Jude Maxwell being the inaugural champion.
