Boner is a crime TV show on CNT in GTA IV. The series' protagonist is, as a billboard describes, an "archaeologist & private dick". The series' name is an obvious reference to an erection. It may also be a reference to the classic Blaxploitation movie Shaft. Another reference is to the show Bones, an American crime drama.
