Ina Balin was born in Brooklyn, New York. Her father, Sam Rosenberg, was an entertainer who worked the Borscht Belt circuit. Her mother was a professional dancer. Balin starred in Broadway productions and feature movies in the 1950s and 1960s. Later she appeared in television shows from the 1960's to the 1980's. Balin was a guest star on many popular television shows including Bonanza, The Dick Van Dyke Show, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Battlestar Galactica, Get Smart, It Takes a Thief, Ironside, Twelve O'Clock High , Quincy, M.E. and Magnum, P.I.
