The game features graphics and controls the same as the rest of the games in the Asaa Series. The player controls one character who they design at the beginning of the game and must take them through several championships of Asaa. The venues depend on the characters homeworld. Every time a match is won, the player earns some credits which they can then use to buy their character, home arena or locker room some upgrades. If the player completes the game and takes the title of Galactic Champion, a few bonus game modes are unlocked to play in splitscreen mode.
