Mike Coleman always had something to prove. He joined the Marines straight out of Hugh School to prove his determination. He volunteered to be squad leader to prove his leadership abilities. During the Linna 349 invasion he consistently served as point man to prove his courage. But something changed him at Lina... He became tired. Erratic. Distant. When the Corp doctors suggested he be checked out for PTSD, he dismissed the notion and tried to bury himself in his work. But Coleman was just going through the motions. He finally decided that in order to escape the past, he would need a change of scenery. Coleman requested a transfer and was assigned to 1st Platoon, 2nd Bn. 9th Regt. He fit in just fine.
