"Anchet Mariole" was a Marmosan lherical (third gender), and an Objective Witness, giving her considerable authority in Marmosan society. (DS9 - Strange New Worlds II short story: "Change of Heart") The story states that "No solid has died" to create this persona, suggesting there never was a "real" Anchet Mariole.
