Lord Squird is a character that appeared only in the Season 7 Episode "A Long Tale For Grandpa ." He is the evil ruler of the Octopians who reigns from a Crystal Castle that stands in the middle of the island. He commanded his Octopians to imprison the Smurfs in his castle jail, except for Grandpa Smurf , declaring that he must tell them his stories. Later, as the Smurfs escape from the island in Grandpa's magic balloon, Lord Squird followed them and is attacked by Meek Meeks who threw coconuts on his head.
