Mari Jaye Blanchard is a Brooklyn-based animator, muralist and sign painter who submitted an animated segment for the AniBOOM Awards 4 Sesame Street contest. Her segment, "Lonely 11 Song," was voted one of the finalists and aired on the show during season 41. The following season, she started producing more segments for the show.
