The Galaxy Gladiator Federation was the governing body that controlled the underground world of arena gladiator fighting. Shortly before the Clone Wars, the Federation was faced with opposition from a number of fronts, primarily because it lacked sufficient planning to handle the wide variety of alien abilities and disparate fighting styles found throughout the galaxy.
