Don and Katsu, full names Wada Don and Wada Katsu, are the main protagonists of the Taiko no Tatsujin video games by Namco. They are both taiko drums, with Don having a red face and a light blue body and Katsu having a blue face and a light red body. Both of them also have a white edge and four legs. Don's dream is to share the beauty of taiko all over the world, while Katsu is as rambunctious as his brother. They both moved into the Wada family household, and Don has become popular around town. They both also love to eat, but Katsu tends to hold back compared to his brother. They both end their sentences with "Ta-don", which is "Ba-dum" in Japanese. Don's nickname is "Don-chan" while Katsu's nickname is "Kat-chan" and both characters are voiced by Miki Narahashi.
