A Code Optimization Ware is a creature from the game TRON 2.0 that are found in the computer world. According to Byte, "they graze on excess code" and are used to upgrade subroutines. Code Optimization Wares are rare and are usually hidden. After an optimizer is used once, it stops moving around, goes dark, and cannot be used any more.
