The Chau Sara Colonial Militia was a home defense force for the Fringe World of Chau Sara. The militia was perhaps not as effective as the Confederacy may have liked, or at least per the preferences of Magistrate Collins. With the knowledge that the Sons of Korhal were on Chau Sara, he called in an Alpha Squadron force to deal with the rebels, wanting to leave the militia out of the matter. Later, he was heard bemoaning the lack of tenacity and spirit in the Militia's officers.
