Palladius is the uncle of King Felis of the Valley of Pussycats, in Merryland. He is a great, black pussy who wears spectacles. His large family lives at house number 9, including his niece Snowball and her kittens. He is uncle to half the pussys in the Valley. Uncle Palladius has a deep, bass voice and his house produces the loudest and most varied chorus in the nightly midnight concert. When Dot Freeland and Tot Thompson visited Merryland, Uncle Palladius was honored to host Dot at dinner. (Dot and Tot of Merryland)
