The Itaboraian age is a period of geologic time (59.0—57.0 Ma) within the Paleocene epoch of the Paleogene used more specifically with South American Land Mammal Ages. It follows the Peligran and precedes the Riochican age. This age is named after Itaborai, in the state Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
