The President of Darnussia is the official head of state of the Darnussian Republic. He is elected every 4 years during the general elections in a two-round voting system. While head-of-state, the post of President does not actively participate in the running of government, and instead is mainly a ceremonial role. Nevertheless the President has some important "reserve powers" in case of political instability. The Presidents official residence is in a secret location inRed Stad.
