He played junior hockey for the Lindsay Muskies and Des Moines Buccaneers from 2003 to 2007. In that year Krelove joined the Bowling Green Falcons for whom he played until 2011. Undrafted by any NHL team, Krelove was signed as a free agent by the Cottonmouths in 2011.
