Grand Duke William Bishop I (1798-1912) served as Grand Duke of Kinnimoore from 1824, following his father's death, until his own death in 1912. William Bishop had two sons, William Bishop II, and John Bishop. He groomed the former to be his heir, and ignored the latter. From 1887 to his death, William I possessed the Ebon Wand.
