Hapl'cho was a title of significant power in the hierarchical society of Aidyl. The exact powers and responsibilities of the title are unknown, although the title was passed on from farther to son, religiously. The first born son of the then Hapl'cho would automatically inherit the title upon the death of his father, regardless of whether the son had been disowned. Jonro Lamai received the title during his early life as a Jedi, despite being disowned by his father for staying with the Jedi Order. Lamai was the last Hapl'cho as Aidyl was destroyed during his lifetime.
