The Key to Hotel Room 204 is found in the cloak room on the second floor of the Lakeview Hotel in Silent Hill 2. The key is locked inside a briefcase, which is opened by using a key with a fish keyring found in the Lake Shore Restaurant. It unlocks Room 204 in the west wing of the hotel's second floor where another key, an elevator key, can be found and also another briefcase that holds an important item.
