Vorpatril's District was a region on the northeastern coast of the northern continent of Barrayar. It came under the purview of House Vorpatril and particularly of Count Vorpatril. The district capital was New Evias, a city about one tenth the size of Vorbarr Sultana. Being in the north (and thus having a cooler climate than Vorbarr Sultana), Vorpatril's District was a popular summer retreat. The resort town of Bonsanklar was located in the district. There were mountains behind the town; these were probably not from the Dendarii range.
