For the November 2009 writing challenge, each character was asked to write a one-shot between 500 and 2000 words in length. The subject and location were completely up to the handler so that they could select the type of thread that they felt best showed off their character in any sort of light - good, bad, positive or sinister. The winner of this challenge was Simon St John with second place going to Rianion Zyan, third place to Callum LeFroy, fourth place to Noelle Lowe, and fifth place to Lanie Blackstone.
