He was active on British television between the late 1970s and the turn of the 21st century. He is undoubtedly best known as James Willmott-Brown, a major EastEnders villain of the 1980s. More recently, he has also held a recurring role in 'Orrible from 2001. His television career includes a number of guest-starring or one-off performances, as in Secret Army; Robert Banks Stewart's Bergerac; and The Jewel in the Crown. He also had a recurring role on the little-remembered The Spoils of War in 1980.
